| Remove
panel front cover. Make detailed documentation showing all
parts, cables and connections. |
|
Drill
out rusted screws of main bus plate. Cut connectors at cable
ends. |
|

|
 |
|
| Disconnect
all cables from negative and ground buss. |
|
Cut
some more connectors at load cable ends. |
|
 |
|
 |
|
| Cut
remaining connectors at load feed cable ends to free the
backplane of the panel. |
|
 |
|
 |
|
| Unhook
all remaining cables at the ground and negative busses. |
|
 |
|
 |
|
| Remove
circuit breakers. Pull out backplane of panel. |
|
Inspect
breaker panel box. Clean if in good shape. This one had
no signs of damage, only surface dirt. |
|
 |
|
 |
|
| Remove
all remaining components from backplane. Clean backplane
plate thoroughly. |
|
Assemble
panel with new circuit breakers, distribution busses, and
other components. |

 |
|
 |
|
| Reinstall
backplane and hook up all cables with new terminals. |
|

|
 |
|
| Double-check
for any wiring mistakes, organize all cables into position
and tie-wrap. |
|
Test
all circuits, replace panel front cover. |
